not sure if i shared this before but i kinda 'dig' country music. i'm watching a carrie underwood christmas special and i'm enjoying it. dolly parton just performed and this lady is still beautiful and she still has her nice figure. anyway, i might purchase some country songs soon but i'm not too well versed in all the song names and country singer names but there a few country songs that i absolutely love...its going to take awhile to find the names, etc. i will definitely purchase some carrie underwood songs.

It's freezing

It's so cold outside and the heat hasn't come on yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm freezing. I have layers on and am about to snuggle under 2 blankets.

The Princess and the Frog

Perhaps if there had been little black princesses on TV and in the movies when I was a little girl, I might not have social anxiety issues today.

I can't wait to see the looks on little black girls' faces, when they watch this movie. This film is so important to me and even though I am not a little girl anymore, this will heal me in so many ways.


I just might have to go to the movies alone to see this one because I might get too emotional. We'll see...I'll keep you all posted.

I was so close to auditing an acting class tonight but I got too nervous. So I stayed on the bus when it was my stop. I'm still on the bus now...riding all the way home. Next opportunity is in january for this particular acting school. I have 3 more schools to audit b4 I make my final decision so I estimate that I will officially start acting classes this spring.

Good to be home

Its so good to be home after a long day of work. The winter is finally rearing finally making its appearance in NY. It's suppose to rain/snow tonight and tomorrow which translates into a slushy mess for my morning commute. I have yet to buy snowboots. Making a note to myself now.

I hope you are reading this in a nice, warm and cozy place.

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren

Everyone is talking about it. As the number of mistresses grows, all I have to say is that my thoughts and prayers are with Tiger Wood's wife, Elin Nordegren. She deserves better. This is painful to watch. I am so shocked...they say you could never put anything past anyone but still, it is still surprising that such a seemingly good man could be so wrong...so bad. I feel so bad for Elin Nordegren and I wish her courage and strength.

All this talk about Tiger with white women should not be the issue because its diverting from the issue at hand. Elin Nordegren is a woman and regardless of what race you are, if you are a woman, you should feel for her.
