Danica Mckellar was, once, best known for her role as Winnie Cooper in "The Wonder Years" but that's changing. She is now, increasingly, known for her expertise in Math as a Mathemetician and she continues to add more credits to her acting resume!
McKellar studied at UCLA, majoring in mathematics. While at UCLA,
she became a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She graduated summa cum laude in
1998. As an undergraduate, she coauthored a scientific paper[12] with Professor
Lincoln Chayes and fellow student Brandy Winn. Their results are termed the
