I had a few meals at this diner and I absolutely loved those mornings when my boyfriend and I had the delicious split pea soup. Ah, the memories!
I heard the bad news that the diner was closed but today, I heard semi-good news: the diner is moving to the south after a buyer in Alabama made a deal. There was talk of the diner moving to Brooklyn, which would have been nice but the deal fell through.
I will actually consider visiting the South to check out the new digs whenever I get a chance to visit.
Its sad to see this diner go because for a shy girl like me, its hard to find warm, cozy spots like these where a girl can sit by the window and eat without feeling overwhelmed.
